The Harm Reduction Provider Directory helps people find providers who work outside recovery-only models.
Many of the practitioners listed here are difficult to find through traditional directories. Some offer therapy. Others provide peer support, nutrition counseling, bodywork, herbalism, community education, spiritual care, traditional medicine, birth and lactation support, consulting, or other forms of support.
The directory makes it easier for people to find providers whose work reflects harm reduction principles, and for referrals to happen more easily across our broader community.
Who Uses The Directory?
People come here looking for providers who understand harm reduction and who can work with a wide range of goals, circumstances, and relationships to change.
Some are looking for eating disorder support. Others are looking for help with substance use, chronic illness, grief, trauma, disability, pregnancy and postpartum care, or life transitions.
Many simply want a provider whose approach feels like a better fit than what they've found elsewhere.
Why Be Part Of This Provider Directory?
There isn't a widely recognized directory for providers who practice harm reduction across eating disorders, mental health, birth work, ancestral medicine, nutrition, primary care, social work, and peer support.
For eating disorders specifically, there isn't a directory centered on harm reduction providers at all. Most eating disorder directories organize around treatment specialties, insurance, or therapeutic modality rather than philosophical approach, and even identity-affirming directories rarely let people search specifically for eating disorder harm reduction.
There isn't another directory that does what this one does.

Why NPP Built This
For years, community members have asked us for referrals. They wanted providers who understood harm reduction and whose work aligned with their needs. We built this directory to make those connections easier.
Listing fees help support Nalgona Positivity Pride's educational programs, community resources, and ongoing directory maintenance, allowing NPP to continue operating independently of institutional and corporate funding.
